To my cherished guests, friends and community:
With a full heart and profound reflection, I share one of the most difficult decisions of my life: The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm closed on August 31, 2025.
There comes a moment when we must honor the natural rhythm of life and embrace change. That moment has arrived. What began as a dream blossomed into a beautiful chapter - a place rooted in purpose and filled with meaning. Never could I have imagined how deeply this restaurant would shape my life, nor how many treasured memories would be written within its walls and across its fields.
This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Over the years, I've had the privilege of welcoming guests who became friends, who entrusted us with their celebrations, their stories, and their time. In turn, I shared pieces of my own life with you - through every seasonal dish, quiet sunsets, joyful toasts, and earnest goodbyes.
It has been my honor to work alongside passionate farmers, artisan producers, winemakers, brewers, and purveyors whose dedication has been the backbone of our mission. Together, we honored the land, celebrated the bounty of our region, and upheld a vision of sustainability and connection with the earth.
To our remarkable team-past and present - you have been the heart and soul of Patowmack Farm. Chefs, cooks, servers, bartenders, dishwashers, managers, and more -you brought light, integrity, and excellence to every plate and every guest experience. You believed in this place, and in me, and I will always carry your spirit with me. Watching you grow has been a true joy.
Now, as I move into the next season of life, I do so with immense gratitude. I look forward to slow mornings, deep conversations, new adventures, and most of all, precious time with my family.
From the depths of my heart, thank you. I treasure every memory, every moment, and every one of you. May you continue to live in celebration of life, community, and the beauty of shared experience.
With love always,
Beverly
And suddenly, you know...It's time to start something new and trust the magic of new beginnings.
