Experienced Chef/Cook

We are looking for an experienced cook to work at our award-winning Restaurant at Patowmack Farm.  This person must embrace working on our on-farm restaurant using ingredients we source from our farm and locally.  As our menus change often, the ideal candidate must be creative and willing to adapt to new dishes quite frequently.  We are looking for someone who is passionate and committed.

Experience is a requirement and we require a one-day stage.

This position requires the candidate be proficient and willing to learn all types of food preparation.

Maintains a positive and professional approach with entire staff.

Must have excellent communications skills.

Must be efficient in problem solving.

Must be creative and able and willing to multitask.

Must have high safety and hygiene practices.

Must be willing to embrace the farm concept.

Patowmack Farm is an organic farm located just off of Route 15, overlooking the Point of Rocks Bridge.  The on-farm restaurant specializes in progressive local cuisine.  We grow our own produce, forage our acres of land for wild food and support local producers.
