Cooking Classes
We offer a wide range of classes. Classes include recipes, sample tastings and a glass of wine. All cooking classes are on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m
Classes typically last 3 hours. Minimum 6 people, unless otherwise noted
Classes fill quickly. Register early to avoid disappointment. Payment must accompany registration. You may cancel up to 7 days before the class. No refund will be issued after that time, unless the class is not held or for inclement weather.
We must have at least six participants to hold a class.

Warm up with Hearty Soups and Stews –- February 25 - $55.00 per person
Beat the cold weather blues with these recipes that are sure to warm up your heat and your home. Utilize everyday ingredients to create deeply flavored soups and stews that your family and friends will be happy to share.
Recipes for New Parents –- March 24 - $45.00 per person
During this special time of your life, take a break and spend a few hours with Chef Chris. A new parent himself, learn some creative recipes for healthy baby foods that are sure to expand and enlighten your baby’s palate. Serving homemade baby food allows you to eliminate and unnatural food additives and preservatives and starts a lifelong habit of eating healthy and general wellbeing.
Lamb, The Experience –- April 28 - $110.00 per person – Minimum 10 people
Forget about the mint jelly! This is a whole animal butchering demonstration. Chef Chris will share his valuable connections and teach you how to save money by purchasing the whole animal and utilizing every part to its full potential.
Cinco de Mayo –- May 19 - $65.00 per person
A Mexican American celebration of food, fun and freedom. Make a tasty margarita with fresh fruit juices and premium tequila. Learn some delicious recipes, including fresh tortillas, for creating your own Mexican feast.
Spring Fling –- June 9 - $65.00 per person
With summertime fast approaching, get into the gardens and prepare a light meal with a green theme. Recipes include the best ever mixed greens salad, fresh pasta with young garlic and sweet peas and organic chicken breast with braised greens and pesto cream.
Made in Spain –- July 14 - $85.00 per person – Minimum 8 people
Summertime is a great chance to celebrate with a traditional Spanish fiesta. Start your day with some sagria and tapas. Enjoy the iconic chilled tomato soup, gazpacho. Make a rustic paella over the open fire and for dessert, the famous Crema Catalana.
Pasta Perfection –- August 11 - $65.00 per person
A life-changing experience, learn to make fresh pasta at home. See how something so simple can be so amazing and change the way you look at pasta forever. Dry pasta does have its place, however, today we celebrate the world of fresh noodles, stuffed pasta and gnocchi.

Celebrate Loudoun wines and regional food specialties. Open your palate and mind to a new tasting experience with Chef Chris and his unique pairing style. One of our favorite classes, you will have an amazing lunch and surely learn the who’s, why’s, what’s and how’s of wine pairing.
Macaroon Mania –- November 3 - $55.00 per person
The benchmark of a French patissier, this delicate cookie sandwich is the object of admiration anywhere you choose to take it. That is only if you can them there efore eating them all. Our pastry chef will teach you the primary technique, the meringue, and then after plenty of practice, explore the many possible flavors and fillings,
December 1 –- le Bouche de Noel - $55.00 per person
Bring the children! Make our own yulelog cake, from scratch. Learn all the tricks for decorating it in your own personal creative style. It will make a great centerpiece for holiday meals and more importantly, it is a fun family activity!
Corporate Classes
Cook up some fun for your next group meeting. We can design a cooking class or you may choose one of the above. A recipe packet will be yours to take home. Tastings and a glass of wine are included in most classes. We can accommodate up to 12 participants.
