Karen and Stephanie are busy in the fields and gardens planting flowers and vegetables.  They amaze me by their dedication and talent.  Carrots, radishes, swiss chard, lettuces, spinach, peas and fava beans are popping up all over.  Strawberries have flowers and soon berries.  Redbuds, lilacs and dogwoods are blooming providing more beauty than imaginable.  And – it’s so green.  The tent is up and we have begun patio dining (in addition to dining in the conservatory).

Mother’s Day will be celebrated on May 12.  I am blessed to still have my Mother to honor.  I just told her the other day that I still “need my Mother” to have her give me advice and tell me everything “will be just fine.”  Mother’s love you unconditionally, show an enormous amount of patience, give encouragement and strength and still manage to have their own individual extraordinary personalities and lives.  My children are beautiful, courageous mother’s who are giving their children strength to stand on their own and fond memories to cherish.  I am so proud of them and their accomplishments.

We have many events in the upcoming months.  Please check out our Special Events page and look over the cooking classes.

Remember to eat organic, Certified Naturally Grown, “ecoganic” and continue to support all the wonderful wineries and farms.

Whether sitting in our glass conservatory, gazebo or open-air tent, the view overlooking the Potomac River never disappoints.  Join us for a celebration of the connection between kitchen and earth.  We strive to excel at turning ordinary evenings into extraordinary ones.  Personalized touches throughout your dining experience excite your palate and nourish your soul.

We invite you to experience an unforgettable dining experience.  Join us on a culinary journey as Chef Christopher’s innovative and skillfully executed dishes deliver intelligent compositions and delightful flavors while celebrating local, organic, seasonal ingredients.

It is our continued privilege to honor your presence at our restaurant and farm.
